Y!Song(3)—-”Perfect Day”
Posted on February 25th, 2010 5 comments
just a perfect day
drink sangria in the park
and then later, when it gets dark, we’ll go home
just a perfect day
feed animals in the zoo
then later a movie too, and then homeoh it’s such a perfect day
i’m glad i spent it with you
oh such a perfect day
you just keep me hanging onjust a perfect day
problems all left alone
weekenders on our own
it’s such funjust a perfect day
you make me forget myself
i thought i was someone else
someone goodyou’re going to reap just what you sow

Choose Life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a fucking big television. Choose washing machines, cars, compact disc and electrical tin openers… Choose DIY and wondering who the fuck you are on a Sunday morning. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing, spirit crushing game shows, stuffing junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pissing you last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, fucked up brats you spawned to replace yourself. Choose your future. Choose life…But why would I want to do a thing like that?
————————————-
Just choose your fu*king life…….

Y!Song(2)—-“These are the days”
Posted on February 3rd, 2010 1 comment

他翻唱了很多经典的爵士名曲,比如Billie Holiday的“What a Difference a Day Made”,经典歌舞电影《雨中曲》主题曲”Singing in the rain”,我喜欢这两首要甚过于今天介绍的这首”These are the days”,因为他翻唱得太好听了!
“These are the days”属于jazz偏pop一点,是他哥哥Ben为他而写的,琅琅上口,适合在KTV里面唱(很显然KTV里是没这歌的)。
These are the days that I’ve been missing
Give me the taste give me the joy of summer wine
These are the days that bring new meaning
I feel the stillness of the sun and I feel fine
Sometimes when the nights are closing early
I remember you and I start to smile
Even though now you don’t want to know me
I get on by, and I go the extra mileThese are the times of love and meaning
Ice of the heart has melted away and found the light
These are the days of endless dreaming
Troubles of life are floating away like a bird in flightThese are the days
These are the days
These are the daysI’ve thought you said that love would last forever
Leave and that the tears would end for good
I told you that we get through any weather
Maybe that didn’t work out
But we did the best we couldThese are the days that I’ve been missing
Give me the taste give me the joy of summer wine
These are the days that bring new meaning
I feel the stillness of the sun and I feel finePS.
“Grace is gone”…….

Y!Song(1)一—–Through the backyards
今天要推荐的这首是来自美国纽约的三人女子团体Au Revoir Simone的”Through the backyards”,收录在她们于05年发行的首张专辑《Verses Of Comfort Assurance & Salvation》里。

Baby tell me please
Is this a dream
Spending the night with you
Beneath the cherry trees
Just make a wish and everything comes trueOut the windows of my bedroom
Through the backyards of our neighbors
But I didn’t leave you waiting
There was endless concentrationThen the moon swept down to greet us
It was warm and made of flowers
Into vines that barely reached us
Climbing higher than foreverBaby help me please
In knowing this
‘Cause showing never tells
Was it just a breeze
Was it a kiss
Breathless exquisite chills
Double-Y
